How are Arekaware Plates, Bowls, and Trays Made?
Our process starts when we collect the Areca palm leaves that have naturally fallen to the ground. We sanitize the leaves using a natural process that utilizes steamed water. Our artisans handcraft each plate, bowl, and tray using a heat press. They are often able to make multiple plates or bowls from a single leaf.
Are your Areca plates microwave safe?
Yes. Arekaware palm plates are safe to use in a microwave.

Do you offer discounts for weddings or large events?

Can I serve all kinds of food on the plates?
Yes, you can. All of our palm leaf dinnerware products are heat and leak resistant. You can even put them in the microwave. No dyes, toxins, or chemicals are used in our products so its nothing but clean eating.
Do all the plates look the same?
No, each plate is unique because they are made from leaves from Mother Nature. Our products are 100% natural which gives each place its own beautiful and unique look.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, if you request a refund within 30 days of purchase and the product is unused and in the original packing.
